Paddle to the Arctic I was in Fertile when a kid released me into the Sandhill River, it was March 25. I passed by a house. There was a golden retriever barking at me. He jumped in the river and was biting and clawing at me. It scratched my back, but I was able to get away. As I continued my journey, I floated by Maple Creek. It was as beautiful as seeing a blue jay as I traveled. Also I smelled a BBQ going. I heard ducks quacking and they attacked me because they didnՉ€™t know what I was! I got away and soon made it to Grand Forks. It was summer now. It was starting to rain and starting to get intense dark clouds. They were as dark as the plague. I heard a human shout, Չ€œQuick! A tornado is coming!Չ€ I saw the tornado! It was picking up debris. I was terrified as I donՉ€™t want to be shattered into splinters. After the storm, it turns out I was coming up on Winnipeg. I float up on Winnipeg, it was a boring place. Then a beaver nabs me and bites a piece off my back, ouch! He lets me go, but I get stuck in the wood pile for the winter. I was so close to the ocean. Then, something weird happened. A baby beaver took me and I screamed, Չ€œLet me go!Չ€ FinallyՉ€» I made it to the Hudson Bay. I was almost to the Arctic! Randomly, a blizzard started, it was so cold I was shivering. It almost flipped me over because the winds were blowing so strong. They were as strong as a black hole. FINALLYՉ€» I smell the salt water and I feel waves on my belly. I see a whale eating. IՉ€™m feeling happy that I made it to the Arctic Ocean.
