Paddle to the Sea
On my GREAT BIG journey today, I started at the Sand Hill River and I think that I will end up at the ocean-at least I hope so.
I hope I hear a bear roaring like a volcano. First I think that it will be sunny and maybe a little chilly out. Next I think that I will see some moose and hear birds chirping like angels singing in the sky, la la la la.
The flowers I think I will see are daisies and maybe some flowers that are really pink and some that are light blue.
On the voyage, I really want to hear a whale jumping out of the water like a big boat crashing.
I think that I will look really dirty and really damaged, I hope that I am not drenched when I get back from my trip. I just canՉt wait to go on the trip. How far do you think I will end up?
Suddenly a massive fish bit me. I started to paddle away as fast as I could. I got away but it was really close. Instantly it started raining really hard. It was making its way closer and closer toward me. I was getting really nervous. Then I saw some rapids. It was hard to get through but gradually I made it. When I finally made it through it stopped raining.
Then it started to turn to fall. The leaves were changing to red, yellow and orange.
I looked up to the sky and saw the birds migrating south. I found an antler laying by the shore.
Finally it started to snow again. I am really sick of snow because it is so cold and I do not know how to get warm because I forgot to bring a blanket. I went to bed and I woke up and there I was in Hudson Bay. The snowflakes were falling like shooting stars.
That was an amazing and wild trip. I am paddle to the sea.
