Hello! I am Ivan the Traveler from Valley City, ND. Ivan would love to make it to the Hudson Bay, into the Atlantic Ocean, and maybe to Greenland or Europe. Ivan wants to see arctic foxes, meet people who keep him going on his journey, caribou and reindeer herds, and possibly some whales. Ivan was launched in the spring of 2021 with 8 other canoes so you might find some more canoes near him. I think Ivan's journey will be exciting and probably a bit scary. Ivan would also like to meet a black-footed ferret. Ivan started his journey flowing down the Sheyenne River and should also be flowing down the Red River.
