My canoe's name is Moo Moo. She will start off on a pleasant ride hopefully all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. It will start off in Cass County when I will set moo moo to float in the river. It will ride next to me in my kayak for a while. Then it will go fast down the stream and many fish will be following it like Wali Sunfish and Catfish. It will go by a field of crops like corn. It will be kind of hard for it to get to Traill County on that ride; a few times some fish would flip it over, or the current would take it. After 2 days it make it there. After it makes it to traill it will go to grand forks that will be a very nice ride and many fish will be following it. Once it gets closer to Walsh the tide will be very strong. It will also see many deer on its way. The boat was being pushed and shoved into other places. But after a week of riding it finally got to Pembina. After that it was going to go straight to hudson bay. That will be a good trip and many animals will see it such as turkeys, squirrels, possums. A fish will jump on top of it but it will not go under the water. Then it will go to the Atlantic Ocean within a very long time, 2 years. It will see a blue bird, and a parrot. It will go by a big forest and see silver birch and rubber fig. That will be what moo moo sees for most of that time. It will be sailing in the wind on a nice calm current. It will make it to the Atlantic ocean and some little girl will find it on a ship, pick it up, read my story and keep it forever. Also will pass it down through her generation.

View May 30, 2021 Pam Kern & Karen VanFossan Hello! My friend Pam and I found the canoe while kayaking upstream on the Red River, not too far from Oak Grove Park. Later, we also saw a beautiful turtle laying eggs; she was larger than a dinner plate with a long, spiked tail. What a beautiful day! Thank you for helping it be so! - Karen
