My canoe name is the S.M.S. Jorld. I hope my canoe will make it to the Hudson Bay someday. When I release my canoe in May on the Red River my canoe will have a mostly smooth ride but with some rough and hard parts throughout it. My canoe will move up out of Cass County into Trail County seeing wheat fields and American elm trees. Next, the S.M.S. Jorld will go into Grand Forks and East Grand Forks cutting right through the middle of Grand Forks. The S.M.S. Jorld will see catfish and trash swimming and floating around him. The S/M/S/ Jorld will then see a rabbit go down for a sip of water. Later, the S.M.S. Jorld will leave Grand Forks County and head into Walsh County where he will see white tail deer under trees to shade them from the summerՉs heat. A little bit later a catfish will jump on top of the S.M.S. Jorld submerging it for a few seconds before it floats back to the surface to continue its journey to Hudson Bay. ` Next, the S.M.S. Jorld will enter Manitoba, Canada. Then a little bit later he will see the great Canadian beaver building a dam to protect it from the golden eagle flying overhead. Next, the S.M.S. Jorld reaches the outskirts of Winnipeg as a river begins to freeze. The S.M.S. Jorld is now frozen in the middle of Winnipeg where it sees turkeys walking on the river, Later that year the ice melts just enough to let the S.M.S. Jorld continue on its journey. Later when he reaches Lake Winnipeg he sees a lake sturgeon mistaking it for a catfish because of the whiskers. He realizes his mistake when the lake sturgeon comes and bumps him. The S.M.S Jorld reaches the mouth of the Nelson River where he sees a pack of wolves laying down underneath a Canadian maple tree. A little while later he sees two fishermen in a boat reel in a 5 foot long northern pike. The S.M.S. Jorld then sees a black bear on the river bank but the S.M.S. Jorld did not even care and continued on his journey knowing he only had a little bit left to go until he reached Hudson Bay. Later the S.M.S. Jorld reaches the headwaters of the Nelson River. As the S.M.S. Jorld sails into the Hudson Bay he sees a pack of killer whales off in the distance and then begins to drift north toward Rankin Inlet. As he drifts north he sees a polar bear hunting for seals and arctic geese flying overhead. A year has passed since he set sail in Cass County and it begins to turn to fall. When the S.M.S. Jorld reaches Rankin Inlet it begins to turn winter and the water begins to freeze. Now frozen, the S.M.S. Jorld is picked up by a walrus and dragged to the shore where the S.M.S. Jorld lays.
