Hi, my name is Gata. I really hope I have a long and awesome journey. I hope to see fish, otters, moose and many more animals. I would love to make it to the Nelson River. I started my journey on the Goose River in Mayville, ND. On my journey on the Red River, I met another canoe. Her name was Perrita. She became my best friend. We saw a lot of animals like beavers, moose, elk, and some eagles. We were going through the water, and we both got stuck on a log. And we rode it all the way to the Nelson River. Yay I am so happy my dream came true I made it to the Nelson River. One day a little girl named Lily picked me up and separated me from Perrita. I thought I would never see her again. Lily cleaned me up and repainted me. She kept me for over a week, and then she released me. My last memory with Perrita is when we were on the way to the Hudson Bay. She released me, and I made it all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. Wait, what is that? It looks like a canoe. Wait, could it be Perrita? It is! I'm so happy I thought I would never see her again. Then there were fins circling around us and heads popped up out of the water. It was dolphins. A dolphin scooped both of us on its head and rode to the sunset.
