Hello there. My name is Pine and Ive been at sea for so long. I was made out of wood paint and pine cones. My goal is to get to Hudson Bay in Canada from the FertileBeltrami Nature Center in Minnesota in the USA. I hoped to get at least to Canada and if I was lucky Hudson Bay. My journey started in the Sandhill River at the Nature Center. I left with 40 other friends. We started going down the river with high hopes. It was a little boring but awesome at the same time. I saw a bass on my way. I also saw a cloud that looked like a pinecone. I felt super lucky after that. After an hour I finally made it to the next town. I saw a sign that said Beltrami. I knew it was a town so I was very happy. I continued my journey with a few boats by my side. On the way I got some seaweed on me.Its still Spring but 2 months have passed by. Its because I got caught on more seaweed. I finally got free when a fish bumped into me. I looked around to see that no one else was with me. I was super sad. But I continued on anyway to see if I could find anyone. I made it to a place called Climax on May 16th. When I made it to Climax I knew where the group probably was. I thought they were already past Grand Forks by now. I remembered one of my friends telling me that at Climax the Sandhill River joins the Red River. I was so excited that I had made it this far. I was sideways in the river but then I turned forward. It was nighttime when I woke up on the shore. I thought I was gonna be there forever but the next day a boy named Joe picked me up and said Wow this canoe is cool Im gonna take it homeHe was taking me to his mom when he accidentally dropped me. He picked me up and saw the bottom of my canoe and read it. It said Im Pine to the Sea Put me in the water so I can continue my journey to the sea. He read it and put me back in the water. I was so happy when I realized he said hell take me home so I assumed I was almost to Grand forks. I woke up again the next morning to see Grand Forks ahead of me. After 10 minutes I made it into Grand Forks I saw restaurants stores cars a bridge and a big tree that was beautiful. It was late at night in the Red River as I passed Grand Forks and headed towards Oslo. Its also summer on July 14th. I was almost to Canada. The next morning I woke up in Oslo. It was pretty normal in Oslo.After Oslo I knew there was nothing that could stop me now. I made it past Drayton toward border control in Pembina. When I made it to Pembina I felt like I was gonna explode. I knew that I had made it to Canada. And right now Im in Canada I know you might already knowbut I told the whole story from Canada. So Im still hoping to see Hudson Bay in 2 months or less. Im past Emerson now and my journey ends at Hudson Bay. Thats all that happened I hope you liked my story. Remember to follow your dreams
