One spring day I was released from my owner. I saw a turtle and a couple of birds. I saw a sign that said Welcome to Climax. The water looked different. The next second somebody picked me up. He started to look at me and then he put me back. I really wonder why he picked me up but Im happy he put me back. Two days passed and I have not seen much but a bear did try to pick me up. One day later I got stuck in a dam. Some kayakers saw me picked me up and put me back. I think I am in Grand Forks. When I woke up I heard a lot of racket. I think it is a parade. A couple days later I reached Canada I got really cold when I got farther into Canada. Two days later I got stuck in the ice. I had to wait a bit for it to melt but I got past. The next morning a hiker saw me and picked me up. He looked really cold but he had a lot of layers. So I think he will be fine. A few days later I got to Winnipeg and I was so happy I saw a northern pike and a walleye and I thought that was cool. It is my 10th birthday so Im so happy. A couple days later I was in Lake Winnipeg A boat picked me up and dropped me off at the Nelson River. I was so excited because they dropped me off at the Nelson River. A day later I saw a waterfall ahead of me. I was about to hit it and then I fell. It was really scary. It started getting a lot faster and I noticed I was in the rapids because it got really bumpy. After a while it was smooth and it got deeper. Im closer to Hudson Bay. Two days later I was in Hudson Bay. I saw a polar bear and it was protecting its cub. I did not see much after that. I was so bored and I just wanted to make it to the ocean. Five days later I did not see much but I was 25 miles away from the ocean I was so exhausted My journey was so far and now Im almost done. Five hours later I made it to the Atlantic Ocean My journey is over now

View May 31, 2021 Jefferson Vaughan We were kayaking down the Red River on Memorial Day, 2021 and were so surprised and excited to find these little canoes stranded on the east bank of the river! We are very happy to have played a small part in this canoe's grand adventure. Good luck Basketball Tiger on your way to the sea! Godspeed!!
