Hi Im Katie and I'm about to tell you about the best journey of my life. It started one spring morning when my owner dropped me into the water. At first I didnt see anything but then I saw a beautiful flower tree and then I realized that I was in the Red River. So that means that I had already been to Beltrami. Right at that second I saw a huge buck. And he looked at me then ran away. I got a little tired so I took a quick nap. Then when I woke up it was summer. And there were fireworks everywhere. I realized it was the 4th of July. Everyone was outside. But someone dropped their firework setup and I got stuck. I thought I would never get out. But then a little girl found me and picked me up. She saw my sign and put me back. I was free One month later I couldnt believe it was already August. I had been out here for so long. As I was going along I saw a very cute kitten. It ran up to me but it could not touch me because it was scared of water. He ran away after a minute. I already made it to Canada. After a few weeks it started to get cold. It was winter And in three weeks I had made it to Lake Winnipeg. An old lady found me out in the cold so she brought me to her house and said she would put me back in the water next spring to continue my journey.
