One breezy afternoon I (dream) found myself riding in the backpack of my owner on the trails of Icelandic State Park. I was on my way to the bridge on the trails to be dropped on the Tongue River. My owner was dangling me over the river. She called out 3, 2, 1 and dropped me in the river. Finally I was in the Tongue River. It has been around a half an hour since I was launched with low current. In Akra a little girl was playing in the river and picked me up. She brought me inside and she must have been at her grandma's house because it smelled like a nursing home. I held my breath until I was put back in the water. Around 10 minutes later I hit Cavalier. It was quiet so I went right through. Once I was out of Cavalier I started to see many cottonwood trees. The riverbank was opening back up and then I was seeing riverbank grapes and Western Chorus Frogs. I was seeing the river getting wider. Can it be? I was in the Pembina river! Just about an hour and a half later it started raining and I started seeing more houses and buildings. In Pembina there were many bald eagles flying in the rainy sky. The rain brought the shortnose gar closer to the surface of the river. Out of Pembina there were many purple loosestrife and shrubs. The river was very wide now. I was in the Red River. I was dozing off and almost missed the Channel Catfish swimming happily. By morning I was in Emerson. In Emerson I saw Ironwood trees. 2 hours had passed and I had finally made it to Winnipeg. It took me around 3 hours to make it through winnipeg. On the outskirts of Winnipeg there was a forest of American elm trees. It had been around 8 hours now and I had just made it to Lake Winnipeg. All I saw in the beginning were shrews. 4 hours had passed. Halfway through lake winnipeg I saw bur oak and green ash trees. 3 Թզ hours have passed and I was starting to see very colorful sturgeon. I was on the Nelson river. Deciduous trees and coniferous trees were swaying in the breeze. I sat and watched a raft of otters (a group of resting otters) float past me. When I looked up I saw Hooded Mergansers fly overhead. I started falling asleep. After over a year I finally made it to Hudson's Bay. There were so many polar bears roaming the ice. It smelled of salt water and fish. There were bow headed whales and jellyfish. I could not stop looking at all the beautiful scenery. I saw ice algae, mosses, and lichens.
