Canoe 22RD0306

It was a very hot morning, Fred was about to launch his canoe named Falcon on the Tongue River. Splash. I landed hard. I saw a bald eagle fly high above me in the town of Akra. About 45 minutes later I saw some Pussy Willows near the town of Cavalier. It was not too loud there, but then it got quiet again. I saw baby Walleye trying to beat me in a race I was going as fast as I could. He beat me at the end by a little bit, then swam away. I made it to another town named Bathgate. I saw two boys about 10 years old, one riding a dirt bike and the other was riding a ranger. I also saw some short aspen trees. And off I went into the Pembina River where I saw a sauger jump on my left. I made it to the biggest town of the whole day. And now it was night. I could not see much but there was an old house with vines on half of it and very long grass. A few minutes later I could see some deer ahead drinking clear fresh water from the Pembina River. After that, the rest of the night was boring so I fell asleep. Two day passed and then I went to bed again. I woke up to the current getting faster. The River got more and more wide than I saw the sign that said Red River! I am halfway through my journey. One week later I saw some Raccoons eating a big bush of grapes. I also passed through a town named Emerson. A few days later after that I passed a big city named Winnipeg where I saw a huge Catfish and a very tall cottonwood tree. I guess the lake is named Winnipeg, just like the city Winnipeg. Right off the bat I saw lots of boats with fishing rods hanging from the side. Then I saw the biggest fish I ever saw in my life, it was called a Sturgeon. The wind picked up and it blew me to the shore where I saw a green Cedar and a Bunchberry. I slowly drifted back to the middle of the lake where I saw a eastern screech owl fly above me. Now I am on the Nelson River. I saw a school of Bass swimming under me. A few minutes later I saw a baby green ash tree. I saw a big sign that said Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park. Then the water got very shallow and started getting faster, and then down I went. I hit the ground hard. A little boy picked me up and threw me back into the River. Some Beavers were by a beautiful Water Forget me not flower. The water tasted more salter. Could it be? Yes! I had made it to HudsonՉ€™s Bay! Right away I saw a Black Spruce tree and a very small baby burbot. I was happily looking around when I noticed a big Larch and a big Cod.
