I was being held in a sack getting ready to be launched into the Tongue River. My transporter took me out of the sack and I saw the big river right before my eyes. She whispered, ՉGood luck on your journey my canoe friend, Ariel .Չ I was amazed and excited to see all the animals and plants on my journey. My journey had finally begun. The first town I came to on the Tongue River was Akra. I ran into something squiggly and slimy; it was a Walleye. The Walleye must have thought I was a small fish. I should try to paddle to the other side of the river. Maybe the Walleye was looking for a Yellow Perch. I finally got to Cavalier and as I was paddling I saw from the corner of my eye I saw a Fox Squirrel running up a Green Ash Tree. As the Squirrel was running up the tree I heard a splash. I couldnt believe it when I saw a big Paddlefish. It had a very long nose. I was in the small town of Bathgate, and the surface of the river was smooth. The Willow Trees along the riverbank were big and bushy. I saw mussels along the riverbank. Before I knew it, I was already at the Pembna River. As I was passing through the river I saw a sign and it read ՉPembina.Չ The town of Pembina had a lot of houses and a bunch of big and little ironwood trees. I even saw some Coniferous Trees. They looked super sharp. As I passed through Pembina I started to notice something white and kind of a greenish color too. WaitՉ». It was a White Sucker. They were following the gentle current. The Red River was up ahead. The town Emerson was in my sight. Along the riverbank I saw a couple of kits playing with the mama Racoon. As I was floating along the Red River I finally saw Winnipeg. It was huge and loud. I heard the roaring sound of trains, cars, trucks, and even planes. I realy wanted to stop, but I knew I had to be and where I needed to go. So as I floated away from Winnipeg I came up to the Nelson River. When I was floating, the current became harsher instead of it being gentle. I wondered what was going on. As I was floating I looked down, and I saw a beaver lodge. That was what was stopping me. On the riverbank I saw Forbs and some Purple Loosestrife. I saw a River Otter eating other aquatic plants. I was pretty close to being to the Hudson Bay. I just canՉt wait to be there. Finally I was there. I was in the Hudson Bay with all the wild life plants like Mosses, Sedges, Lichens, and they were all so green. As I was glancing, I noticed some Caribu running from a pack of Wolves. I was here; my dream came true.
