My CanoeՉs name is Liberty, I named it Liberty because my canoe is free it can do anything and everything when it is on water. I want Liberty to make it to the Atlantic ocean . On my canoes journey it will start at the Maple River, when it starts going down the Maple River it will be happy and excited for all the new animals and families it will meet but nervous for his other canoe friends and himself if they get stuck in mud or get taken away and never put back in water again. Anyways my canoe starts off in the Maple River on its way through the maple river Liberty is so excited to be on the water although, it was a rough start when she got thrown in the water. Now Liberty is in lake Heron she hears a few voices along the way and then there's children playing and then they see Liberty, Liberty is kinda nervous and keeps trying to go down the river FASTER!. And then the kids run faster trying to catch up to Liberty, and she crashes threw the water and rolls into the mud. The kids are exhausted, but excited that they caught up to her. One of the children gently picks her up and reads the message and then the children run inside to show their parents. Liberty has know idea what's going on but she knows that she will never catch up to the other canoes. Eventually the kids bring her back and drop her in the water, she is devastated, she is so confused that she slowly just goes on down the river. Liberty wakes up from a nice little nap. She doesn't know where she is but she is really in lake st. Clair Liberty sees more kids picking up two other canoes and Liberty really wants to help those other canoes but those kids are too fast sheՉll never catch up! So she just moves on hoping that they will put those canoes back too. Along the way she sees many fish perch, northern pike, carp, walleye and bass. Then finally Liberty makes it to Lake Erie. Same thing happens here she gets stuck again but this time a kid and her mom bring her in a car to somewhere farther away and toss her in water. She looks around and sees she is in the Niagara river and continues wondering why they brought her here, the water isn't as clear as it was at lake Erie but it is not bad. The water gets very rough and very big rocks are up ahead she accidentally crashes into a rock and flips over in the water. She ends up laying on land and feels something touching her. But she doesn't have to worry, it's just a red squirrel the red squirrel flips her over and over and over until she falls into lake Ontario, sheՉs glad sheՉs back in water but she thinking about other canoes on their adventures, but it is just her so she just worries about herself. She sees more fish and she likes seeing their beautiful different colors that they have. Just then she's by shore and a kid picks her up and says ՉWelcome little canoe, did you know you are in lake st. LawrenceՉ and she dropped Liberty in the water and ran away. But the girl comes running back with her mom and picks liberty up and runs to the car Չdon't worry little canoe we are bringing you somewhere else, if we go far don't worry we were going on a trip anyway, we are going to bring you to the Hudson RiverՉ. Liberty was nervous to go with these people. What if they didnՉt put her back in the water and if they have other canoes with them taking them away too Liberty didnՉt know. (later), Liberty was getting really worried because she was in the car for about two or three hours. She was so tired but she didnՉt want to fall asleep just in case they finally reached their destination, and they did. ՉWe are here little canoe and your going to have a better home then with us trust me I wish I could go into the river with you and be free foreverՉ. The girl dropped Liberty into the Hudson River and Liberty was on her way again.
