I hope my canoe goes to the Gulf of Mexico . Her name is Ellie. I will put her in the Maple River to start. As I put her in the river I hope she won't get stuck. Now she is drifting away in the river and I hope she will have a safe journey. It starts to become night and by morning she will be in the Sheyenne River. As the sun rises the river is calm and Ellie isn't moving. A couple hours go by and a boat is coming ahead and there's a little girl in it with her dad. She sees the boat and tries to pick it up. As she gets it out of the water her dad said, Չ What is that?Չ On the front thereՉs a message that said,Չ Hi, I am Ellie. I am from Mapleton and if you find me please put me back in a safe spot in the river. The girl wants to keep it but her dad tells her to put it back in the river. As the day goes on she is now in the Red River. Night falls and the wind starts to pick up and rain is coming down hard. The current is strong and she is going so fast sheՉs moving side to side she flips up and down then Ellie is stuck in the mud on shore. In the morning a fisherman comes down by the river and picks up Ellie and reads it. Ellie is in very bad shape so he takes her back to his shop and fixes it. Then he puts her back in the river to continue the journey. As the months go on, passing through all those rivers she finally makes it to the Gulf of Mexico and she accomplishes her journey.
