Chapter 1. It was a beautiful hot sunny day in North Dakota. I started my adventure at the Tongue River. The first thing I saw while I was floating down the river was a huge willow tree its trunk was partly in the water. There was a snapping turtle laying on the roots of the willow tree it seemed like the turtles were staring at me. The first town I passed by was Akra I went under a small narrow bridge. Under the bridge there were two white tailed deer drinking water from the river. The deer didnt even move when I floated by. After a few miles passed by a town called Cavalier. As I got closer to Cavalier the river got wider. Near the park bridge in Cavalier there was a nice green leafed cottonwood tree arched over into the water.
As the sun went down I got to a spot up the river to make a stop for the night. THe big Pembina River was my resting point by the city of Pembina ND. I got myself rested against a Sapling tree. I was trying to get some rest before my next adventure when the sun rose but there was an annoying dragonfly that kept me up for many hours. As I was in a good sound sleep a river otter kept nudging me and waking me. It was still dark out and I couldnt sleep so with the full moon shining on me I started down the Pembina River for a quiet peaceful trek down the river. The river otter followed me down the river which was kind of nice knowing I was not by myself roaming down the river in the dark. A few miles down the river the river otter stopped by a Currant tree. I kept my trek down the river. The sun started to rise and I went many miles. I finally made it to my next destination.
I will float down the Red River into Emerson Winnipeg and see a chokecherry with a little baby blue bird in the brush and then see a snake near a Iron wood and then I will go down the river then I will bump into a raccoon and then I see a northern crayfish . Then I went down Lake Winnipeg. I saw green ash and American elm trees on the land. I saw a wood duck in the river and saw a Bald eagle on land.
I will go down the Nelson River. I will run into a Juneberry and see a baby bluebird in brush and also an American cranberry and down the river I will see on the side of the river an
ectotherm and a Fox squirrel up on a tree.
After going through the Nelson River I will go through Hudson Bay I will run into a beautiful Arctic willow flower and see a bear berry bush with a bunny inside and peking out of the brush and im almost done on till I will see a Eastern screech owl in the trees on the side of the river I see a Turkey Vulture then I finish my journey and made it to the Atlantic Ocean.
