Dream:

My name is Yak. Here I am being walked to this big river to start my journey. My dream is to go from the Tongue River all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. All of a sudden I am being thrown into the river. I am now officially on the Tongue River. I am flowing down the river.When I see these big bridges and houses. I hear kids screaming and playing outside. I am still on the Tongue River. While I was on the River I saw many oak trees. All of the sudden I am on my side from an acorn pushing me down. Chokecherry trees are so beautiful because they have pink blossoms starting to bloom. The sun goes down.That night I hear a screech owl hooting. It makes me a little scared of what's ahead. Also that morning I saw a black mink scury down a hill to catch its prey. I just passed Cavalier and Bathgate . Now I am in the Pembina River. For some reason I took a wrong turn to Ms. Zahairas house . I was supposed to go right but the current took me left. A channel catfish swam beside me for a whole mile. Then all of a sudden he turned right. He brought me the right way to keep me on my great journey to the sea. While I was in the Pembina River. If you look closely you can see the white tail of white tailed deer blend into the aspen trees. The American cranberry tree had beautiful red berries. I just wished I had a mouth to savor them. My person that put me in the water told me she loves American cranberries. I now see the big mighty Red River. I told you that I was in the Red River. The water got clearer when I went from the Pembina River to the Red River. The ironwood trees draped over the river and they made it so dark. I think I felt a shiver. I don't have arms so I don't think I could feel anything.While I was on the Red River. The brown beavers were gnawing on the branches of the maple trees. The thought of it made me think that maybe she would want to bite me. That made me scared the rest of the way until I saw a big town. I think I remember the little girl that made me say you will meet a big city called Emerson which is in Winnipeg. I was now in the town A little girl picked me up. She then read my message and she ran to her lake house told her dad. Then she went to the computer to record where I was. I bet my person was very happy to see how far I have gotten. The next day she went back to the Red River and tossed me in. It felt weird because I haven't felt it for a full day. On my journey there were people planting saplings and hopefully they will grow very tall maybe I will see them again .There were so many crayfish I think I counted about a million but I don't have a brain so who knows how many there are actually there. I am now in the big old mighty Lake Winnipeg. I was right by the river bank when the River Bank Vine was in my way but I can't actually paddle. I went right into it and got stuck. I was stuck there for what felt like days but it was more like 3 hours. But then a big ol paddlefish came up to me probably thinking I was its prey. It made a big hole in the bottom of my canoe. Although it helped me because she got me unstuck. The boxelder trees had a lot of gray feisty little squirrels fighting for who knows what. That noise makes me go insane. That night all I heard was a chatter from a red fox. Who I think was giving birth to 1 baby fox. Again I got stuck in the river bank vines. That morning that little red fox that I heard that night. He came and gave me a big push and I was sent off. I tried to say thanks but I don't have a mouth which made me sad because I don't have a mouth. I believe that I am in the Nelson River. I am so excited that I am close to finishing my long journey but it is sad because it has been a fun long journey. I don't want the journey to end. The cottonwood trees had white cotton on them. All that I could think of was my person's soft blue shirt when she was drawing on my side. I was on my way down the River. When I got stuck in the cattails. Later that night a snapping turtle came and hit the bottom of my canoe and got me unstuck .Also that morning a walleye came to signal that I was about to go to the Arctic with cold harsh weather that would soon be near me. I realized that I was now to my last destination which was Hudson Bay. The yellowness of the arctic poppy made me feel safe and cozy even in the cold freezing weather. The snowy owl hooted from a tree and came down to a bearberry and caught a big fat gray hair. A beluga whale came from beneath the water. Witch took me up from the water and I went from Hudson Bay to the Atlantic Ocean. Thats crazy I have now finished the journey. While I was in the Atlantic Ocean. A big fishing boat came inand picked me up with a fishing net. Which brought me up and a little boy came and saw where I came from.He brought me all the way to the person that made mes school.That night I had a dream that my person would be so happy she comes to school tomorrow. When she saw me she was so excited. I am so excited that I completed my journey . THE END.
