On my journey down the Tongue River I passed by Akra to see people fishing for walleye in a boat. Then I saw a bunch of wild turkeys crossing a road. I have passed by a lot of beautiful trees like cottonwood and elm trees. As soon as I hit Bathgate I got stuck between two big rocks. As soon as I thought it was over a man came over and lifted me up and put me back in the water. It is my dream to make it to the Atlantic Ocean.
As soon as I fell asleep I ended up in the Pembina River and in no time I was in Pembina when I was just minding my own business a rude northern pike had bit me and I sank down to the bottom of the lake. When I got to the top of the river a bald eagle picked me up and threw me in the water. Finally I got to relax and look at all the beautiful plants like box elder trees and bur oak.
Once I ended up in the Red River I ended up in Emerson Winnipeg. I saw a raccoon scavenging through someone's garbage. Once I passed Emerson Winnipeg a river otter swooped me up and started playing with me. I liked it. I felt really lonely just floating down all these rivers. When the otter was done playing with me I was off again. There were many aspen trees and cat tails along the way but it felt nice because it was better than just seeing nothing.
When I ended up in Lake Winnipeg I saw a screech owl having a snack on a chokecherry bush. I wish I could have some but I had a journey to follow. I saw a pack of coyotes trying to find something to eat. Then I passed by many ironwood trees.
When I ended up in the Nelson River a white tailed deer was just chewing on a june berry bush then I saw a beaver chewing down a green ash. Then about an hour later I ran into the same beaver dam He picked me up and put me on his little dam but a wave came by and swept me away to the Hudson Bay.
When I finally made it to the Hudson Bay I saw a walrus some arctic poppies and a polar bear. I also saw a moose chewing on some fuzzy prairie crocus by a tree. It looked so cool because I had never seen a moose before.
I found a fisherman who picked me up and recorded my data in the Hudson Bay.
The trip took so long that I lost what year day and month it was. That fisherman put what year day and month on me with a sharpie marker. He took me to the post office and had his grandson play with me.I earned the name Hudson because I spent the most time in the Hudson Bay.
We went to the beach where the boy started playing with me and then another little boy wanted to play with me so the grandson said all right and we started playing with each other. His father said that we had to leave but then the grandson wanted me to go on another adventure. He put me in the ocean and then I was off again for the ocean.
It took me so long to get out of the Hudson Bay because so many fish and birds picked me up and put me in their nest. The fish kept bringing me under water. I went by the coast of the Hudson Bay and got stuck in an algae bloom. I couldn't move for 10 minutes then a duck came by and helped me and I was off to the Atlantic Ocean.
When I made it to the Atlantic Ocean it was so cool because I saw so many walruses moose polar bears arctic foxes and so many cool arctic animals. I still have to find a person to record my data for the Atlantic Ocean. When winter came I got stuck in the ice but some people went ice fishing. when they drilled down it nearly cut me in half but it didn't hit me so I got lucky. The son wanted to keep me but the fishing rod caught a fish and the boy and father dropped me in the water and I sailed away. They didn't even get to record my journey.
I came past a family camping. They thought I was a fish so they grabbed me and realized I am not a fish but they recorded my data. I got so happy because now my owner knows where I am. That's how I finally got to the Atlantic Ocean now my journey is complete.
