Hi Im the Thorny Sailor and here is my INCREDIBLE journey My journey begins by being thrown off into the Tongue River as my creator waves goodbye. My dream is to travel to the Atlantic Ocean my creator once said so on I go After around ten minutes I saw a small town named Akra my creator had mentioned it before. As I went through the town I saw a shrew in the distance eating a river bank grape. As I went through a forest of ironwood trees I saw a soft shell turtle first it came up and under me then it bumped me almost flipping me toobut then it bit me OUCH After that I found a new stream to follow so my dream continues When I passed Cavalier I felt that maybe that turtle was just blind and thought I was a fruit adrift. Anyway a raccoon carried me from the water Hey put me down this instant I cried as he strayed away into an alley. Then a very interesting creature much like my creator uses a box and SNAP he flashed it then it brought me back to the Pembina River. Hey waterfowl up for a race I exclaimed to the bird.321..Goo and were off. Down the river we go. The bird is in the lead but surely I will catch up. As I went down stream I snagged a rock and got docked on a chunk of mud. Noo I have to catch up I think think think think as hard as I can but nothing Until a squirrel came it looked at me with a chokecherry in its grasp. It jumped from the cottonwood trees then sat the cherry on me so off I went. Without the waterfowl insight I headed off again on my journey. As I went on my journey thanks to the squirrel I had a great snack. As I traveled on the Big Red my creator once told me about I was able to spot a snapping turtle my worst enemy. He didn't spot me right away but surely he saw me and defend I did. First she snapped at me but thankfully missed then his shell scraped my marker design off and that made me real mad. So in anger I yanked a branch so that meant the snapping turtle got some of his own medicine So long snapper hope I dont see you again so now I can keep going. Ever since the Pembina River Ive been feeling some kind of essence like someone following me. I cant imagine whaAahh another creature this one was tall with a fuzzy mane and a noodle under its nose I think. It picked me up and placed me in its giant pocket. I think of what he could want but then it made a big Slam Then Thu Thud thud Thud thu Soon it took me out of its pocket and some debris it brushed me off and said Well youve gone a long way havent you there I wonder what I can get with you It put me back and walked into what seemed to be a very messy well I don't quite know what it was. It walked up to a counter and called Jerry Soon another creature appeared and said Whatyuh got this time it asked the creature put me on the counter This it said. How much you offerin Ill give yuh the other one starts.Mmmmhh five dollarydoods. Ill take it betta den nottin I suppose. The creature handed over some green paper and then walked out and the other one picked me up and put me on a shelf. The next day a little creature brought me back up to the counter and asked Whats the lowest you can go The big one said'' Well that ones new so Ill give it out for ten mmh twelve dollarydoods eh Hmm okay the little one hands over some green paper which frankly Im still confused about but eventually it leaves with me. After a while the creature found a spot on a green ash tree surrounded by wood bines and said Hi Im Emily what's yours It started searching and then sees the markings on the bottom. The Thorny Sailor huh great name but I guess I must bring you to the water. Let's hurry before dinna so to the river we went. Soon she brought me back to the water sadly she said'' Well I guess this is bye already. So in the river I went. On my way to Winnipeg I saw the name on a sign by the way. I saw a Johnny Darter out for prey. He was able to find some larvae. After a while of watching he saw me and was very fond of me so fond that he brought himself and a friend on the journey with me So off we were me with Timmy and you guessed it Johny. As we kept traveling on the Red we were able to find Winnipeg. Many of those tall creatures were wearing and were literally so many colors We got stuck in a loop for a bit but eventually we got out and into Lake Winnipeg is what we thought We on the Red River got stuck in an oxbow lake. So we were going on the Red and a big storm washed us apart we eventually found each other. So we made a plan that we would kinda just wait I guess and pretty soon we were blown back to the Red. So on we went into Lake Winnipeg By the shore I come out of all the wilderness including a lot of berries such as cranberries bittersweets and many more. I saw sandbars up in the sky they came down and said Hi After a while of floating I docked myself on a rock waiting for tomorrow to comeafter I said goodbye to Timmy and Johny. The next day a pleasant surprise awaited me. A very distinctive river lost its way and is now adrift in Lake Winnipeg. Hi there an otter greeted its brown self. Im Destiny Hello I started. Im on the way to the Atlantic Ocean. Well thats very far away from here would you like some help Thatd be great So me and Destiny started our way to the Nelson River. Now that we were on the way to the Nelson River Ive experienced a feeling I cant describe. Destiny says Maybe you're just bored I ask What is bored I dont really know she says. So on to the Nelson River now In the river its very relaxing just slowly following the flow. It didnt take long to get to a resting spot for a night. The next day me and Destiny departed but our friendship will always be. So on that morning a Piping Plover fighting with a Hooded Merganser over juneberries. Also an American Elm tree holding over five different animal homes such as bird squirrel and raccoon homes. The next day I made it to the Hudson Bay I was so happy that I was so close to getting to the Atlantic Ocean At Hudson Bay there's so many creatures and plants here I thought I saw an arctic fox playing with crabs by the shoreline and snow owls hunting for food. I thought that the Arctic Willow trees looked cool and some bearberries for the rest of the way. Finally the part youve been waiting for the Atlantic OceanNow Im finally here in the Atlantic Ocean In the Atlantic there arent too many plants I can see besides a lot of seaweed and Arctic poppies have washed up on the shore. In the water seals play together and dont seem to notice me.Before I could wonder why a high pitched boom of sorts Crash A small and frankly very cute beluga whale. He asks What are you A canoe sent to be here and go around the world I exclaimed excitement going through the roof. Can I come Why not I replied.So now my journey My Dream is now finished. Now me and my new friend set out toward the sunset never to be seen until my mission of going around the world is achieved.
