I'm Puddle. I'm heading on my journey to the Atlantic Ocean. I'm not even close I'm only in Cavalier. My Canoe is beautiful with all sorts of colors like orange and red like a sunset. If only I could go in the water today not tomorrow. I'm so excited to see all the plants like vines and American elm trees. It will be great. Today is the day I will be launched into the Tongue River. It is going to be great to explore. I make sure I look good and my coloring looks fine. We head to the River. We are here and it's all that I expected and I was told. My buddy said goodby and launched me down the River. I know she couldn't hear me but I said I will miss you. While I was thinking about leaving I saw beneath me a Yellow perch. It was great. It has been a couple hours i've only seen some fish it's been boring. That's when I saw a BALDEAGLE flying right above me. I thought it was cool until it grabbed me and then it knew I wasn't a fish so it threw me back in the water. Only on my first day it is going bad. It's been a while but now I'm in Pembina and I am in the Pembina river all at the same time. It was morning and i woke up to a sturgeons not even minding I was their and bumping my canoe. I saw a couple trees i knew by just looking my favorite was the willow tree and the second was the sapling tree. Its been a couple hours i've just been looking at the trees and the animals that i have passed on my way to the Atlantic i saw something i never seen before in my whole life a white tailed deer I have been napping on my 5th day and all i knew i was somewhere I was thinking Red River or something else. Later that day I saw a big fish it was huge but i knew what it was right when it picked me up a little boy saw me and leaned over of his boat i figured out it was a boat and picked me up and looked at me while i was looking around and i saw dead walleye laying in a net. The little boy said to me I love your design. I didn't hear him very well because I was looking at the dead walleye. His father told him to let me go because I was on my way to the Atlantic Ocean and we are going somewhere else so the boy let me go. It was the next day and I saw a sign that said welcome to Emerson a while back for the people boating. That's when I saw a hooded mergansers family by the Emerson sign and they were sitting in a little hole by an oak tree or maybe a green ash tree. I was bored until I was in a new place. I didn't know what yet I could only tell because it looked different so I couldn't tell where i was. The things i saw were really beautiful like i've never seen them before or it was just me opening my eyes or maybe... I saw something so scary it was a beaver thinking it was wood for his home i didn't know what to do I just sat still and then later I wiggled out. It took a bit like an hour. But I learned new wood. That's when I knew I was in lake Winnipeg out of knowear. They were iron wood and some branches of a box elder tree. I thought I was going to be stuck but I was being dramatic. It wasn't just me that didn't want to be there. I could tell those branches didn't want to be there either. Couple of days later I was in Nelson River. And I'm getting super good at knowing plants and animals. The animals I know are Paddlefish and a Channel catfish. I know box elder burr oak and the oak tree because I was floating by a shallow part of the water and drifted to the shoreline and got stuck. When I saw those plants. Now I'm bored. Later in the afternoon I was singing a little song I learned from that Girl. And it was Beluga whale singing along with Snowy owls singing along and making music singing along along That's the only part I remember. I'm in Hudson Bay now. I'm kinda close to the Atlantic ocean now. I know like all my plants and animals but kinda not. I feel like a scientist because I know all these animals and plants. I was cold at night so I couldn't sleep last night but I knew when I saw it was a new boat. I never thought I would see one again but I wanted to paddle away because I didn't want to see any dead animals again. It was scary. Because I saw dead fish by a shoreline. Later I saw some new plants like cotton grass and bitter sweet which I wanted and I saw it on that boat so I thought it was cool too. I am so excited to reach the Atlantic ocean. It will probably be cold but I will love it there. I reached the Atlantic I'm really here. All of my favorite things are here plants animals new animals new plants. It's cold but it's still ok. I see a grizzly bear eating some bear berries. It's all that I thought it was going to be. Then I see a walrus sitting on a little ice chunk and I get stuck while I'm watching it. I get smashed between two ice blocks I was ok but I have a little chip in my wood. Plus my color has faded. I love it here but it's good i'm not colored so that i might be able to blend in more. I'm so happy to be home and see a very unique plant arctic willow. It was beautiful. Finally I've reached my destination so i I will stop talking now. I will have a good time here. i can't wait to see what the rest of my journey brings to me.
