My canoes journey Hello my name is Papa Tango. This is the story about how I went from a small town in North Dakota to the Atlantic Ocean. I started out as a big tall tree in the middle of a forest but suddenly someone chopped me down. Then it had to take 2 whole days to chop me down. Next they took me to Minnesota where I got turned into a canoe. Then a massive shop somewhere in Minnesota. They took their free time to make me by hand. They gave me a code which was 711. It took them 3 weeks to build me because they put their time and care into making me. Then they took me on an adventure AKA an extraordinarily long car ride. I ended up at Enderlin Area School where I sat in a box for their whole speech that they gave to the class so they knew where I would be going with all my canoe friends. A few days later when their teacher gave out canoes and I was with a boy or at least I think it was with a boy. His Name was Mylo. He was a nice kid he always had a lot of energy and never raised his hand in class. Now let us get back to the story. He put his heart into me and put stuff that stood for him. When the workers came back to our school on May 13th. We went down to Patric Pierce Park to launch our canoes. The students got to put me in however they wanted. So Mylo rolled me down the rocks. Off I went down the maple river. The Maple River is the river that flows through Enderlin ND. The maple river was beautiful but when I got into the Sheyenne River it was unbeatable. The water was so clear I could see right through it. Then a storm hit and the water was moving like crazy. Then I was in the red river and then the storm was gone. I was traveling in the red river for 2 weeks. When I was going through FargoMoorhead I ran into my best friend Tango Mango who was also on his way to the Atlantic Ocean. We went through Grand Forks and EGF. Which are beautiful places if you have never been there before. We were floating up the river when one of the men who worked for the US CANADIAN Boarder picked me up and examined me to make sure I was not carrying illegal substances into Canada. Then he put me back in the water so I could finish my journey. Then I went on my way. I went through my first town in Canada Winnipeg. A large and beautiful city in Manitoba Canada. Then I went to Lake Winnepeg. The next place I floated was Hudson Bay. I saw a bunch of wolves and moose. Then after 15 years I finally made it to the Atlantic Ocean where i saw a whale.
