My canoe will make it all the way to Winnipeg. I hope it sees wolves and meets some deer. Along the way my canoes journey will be exciting. I hope my canoe will go up the river to Winnipeg in 20 years. Year 1 Uneventful 20 miles. Year 2 A little wildlife. Year 3 A little more wildlife and one giant storm. Year 4 picked up for winter. Year 5 Returned to river in late spring. Fast forward to year 12 Entered Canada and nearly chewed up by a beaver. Year 13 Nearly burned by a forest fire. Year 14 Gets stuck on riverbank during a drought. Skip to Year 19 20 miles from Winnipeg. Year 20 makes it to Winnipeg and gets mailed back to Fargo.
