My canoes name is Seasquatch. I have many hopes and dreams for my canoe once I launch it. I hope it will someday reach Hudson Bay. When I launch Seasquatch into the Red River from Moorhead I hope it will enjoy a smooth meandering ride on a bright sunny warm day in May of 2024. Hopefully it can travel along the muddy wooded banks of the Red as it passes Oak Grove football field. Along the way it should pass by Traill County and I hope it will see some channel catfish not too long after. Next I hope it sees bald eagles flying overhead I hope they will like my canoe. Soon it should see the beautiful city lights of Grand Forks and I hope it will see sugar beets soon after that. Eventually I hope it will find maple trees as it passes by Marshall County. I wish that Seasquatch will enjoy the sight of the behemoths that are moose. Soon after it will hopefully pass Pembina and pass the northern border entering Canada. It should soon see the colossal buildings of Emerson. Along the way I hope it sees willow trees and eventually coyotes. After seeing the coyotes I hope it will see Winnipeg and cod not so long after maybe even blue jays. When it approaches Hudson Bay I hope it will see polar bears and maybe orcas. I really hope that it does get to Hudson Bay after a long trip maybe Seasquatch can make it even further to places like Cuba or Norway. It wont be easy to get to Hudson Bay but I hope Seasquatch does.
