My canoes name is Baby Shark . I have many hopes and dreams for my canoe once I launch it. I hope it will someday reach Alaska by way of Hudson Bay. When I launch Baby Shark into the Red River from Fargo I hope it will enjoy a nice smooth ride in May of 2024. On its way to Alaska as it just passes the border of Moorehead.
I hope it sees a beaver building a dam for its family and I hope my canoe will enjoy the nice shade of a dwarf birch tree. As my canoe nears closer to Grand Forks but is still in the country I hope it passes a field of corn and as it passes the field of corn a partridge will land on top of my canoe then quickly fly away. Then a few days later My canoe will cross over to Marshall county. As it crosses over to Marshall county it will hear a mourning dove make its musical coos. Then I want my canoe to see three baby skunks waddling over to the river. As the skunks are at the river a huge walleye will come up behind my canoe. And as it begins to open its mouth wide to swallow my canoe whole a fast current will swiftly move my canoe away from the walleye and baby shark will continue its journey to Alaska. Then spring will turn into summer and Baby Shark will cross over to Canada As soon as it crosses the border it will be almost sunrise and the sun will slowly start to rise but just enough for Baby Shark to see a green ash owl and its hooting will tell baby shark that it's an owl. Then months later Baby Shark will see channel catfish swimming beside it and theyll knock the canoe from side to side. As lake Winnipeg approaches the canoe will hear the quack of ducks and see mallards. A wolverine will solemnly look out over the water watching the river ride by. I hope my canoe once it makes it to Hudson Bay will see orcas seals and otters playing all together. Then over the course of years my canoe will wrap around Canada seeing all kinds of interesting animals like caribou and salmon and hopefully one day itll make it to Alaska.
