My canoe's name is Atlantis. I picked the name Atlantis because it is the name of one of my favorite songs. I have many hopes for what my canoe sees when I launch it. I hope that Atlantis will reach Australia by going through the Hudson Bay. I will be launching Atlantis from Fargo in May of 2024. I hope Atlantis will have a relaxing smooth ride on the river because everybody enjoys having a relaxing spa day. Along the way to Grand Forks I hope Atlantis will see the oak trees swaying in the wind. I also wish that Atlantis will see a white tail deer eating berries and a great blue heron flying in the bright blue sky. Before it reaches Grand Forks I hope it will see a walleye leaping in the murky water. Next I hope my canoe will pass Grand Forks and see a farmer tending to their soybeans and then I hope my canoe will pass Walsh County. By the end of summer I hope an owl will swoop down pick up my canoe and carry it down the river to Kittson County. By the fall I hope Atlantis will see a caribou herd running in a forest. My hope is for Atlantis to have a smooth ride by Pembia and Emerson. By the end of winter I hope for Atlantis to see some willow trees and a coyote running through them. Also at the end of winter I hope for Atlantis to see Winnipeg lit up in bright colors and a family of beavers. I hope Atlantis has nice scenery as it passes by Lake Winnipeg. By the spring I hope for Atlantis to see a northern pike and halibut swimming around each other. By the end of the spring I hope for Atlantis to make it to the Hudson Bay. After Atlantis is out of the Hudson Bay I hope for a fisherman to pick up Atlantis from the Atlantic Ocean and bring it to Australia as the fisherman was on a cruise. Once Atlantis gets to Australia I hope for Atlantis to see a koala bear and a person eating a timtam.
