I hope Smiles reaches Greenland. When I launch it from the Oak Grove football field I hope it seeՉ€™s a bunch of willow trees, and maybe even spots a large moose. I want its journey to be exciting. Maybe a squirrel jumps on accident when itՉ€™s jumping from tree- to- tree. When it's sailing I hope a huge bullhead bumps into it and leads it into the direction of Cass County, and makes it further down to Moorhead. Once it's flowing down the stream in Moorhead I hope it spots a crow flying above. I hope a catfish mistakes it for food and attempts to grab it, but then fails miserably. As it makes its way toward some corn crops I hope it sees Polk County up ahead. When it's done traveling through Polk and Grand Forks I hope it finally spots the border. After it's done exploring Winnipeg and its lake, I hope it sees an annoyed skunk getting ready to fight any predator that comes its way. After that I hope it catches a caribou's attention, and the caribou just stares at it. Still flowing with the Nelson River as it turns to night, I hope a mooneye swims with it for a while until it gets bored and leaves. During the last few months of its journey on the Hudson Bay, I hope It gets surrounded by a bundle of chokecherry trees. As it makes its way to the Greenland Sea, I hope It sees an owl flying over it. As it finally hits Greenland, I hope everybody there leaves it alone.
