My canoe's name is The Red Bull. It will set off in May of 2023 and eventually end up in Lisbon, Portugal. I hope that in its short time in Moorhead, it will see many oak trees. On its way down the Red River, towards the Canadian border, it will pass a school of saugers. It will then enter Polk County, into a field of soybeans and meet a family of very kind ducks. Closer to the Canadian border, it will see a bald eagle flying overhead. I hope the eagle will pick up my canoe and carry it closer to the border. At the border in Pembina County, my canoe will be met by a family of salamanders who will give it some tips to spot puffins in Canada. Then finally, The Red Bull will enter Canada.
In Canada, the first sight will be a giant school of crappies that will create a current which will carry my canoe into Winnipeg. Soon enough it will enter Lake Winnipeg. At Lake Winnipeg, it will pass through a grove of large willows, where a moose will be bathing in the water. The Nelson River will then carry The Red Bull into Manitoba. Using the tips that it got from the salamanders, it will spot a puffin. The Red Bull will be so distracted by the puffin that a walleye will sneak up on it and swallow it! Next thing it will know, it will be drifting in Hudson Bay. Walruses and Beluga whales will be its favorite animals that it will see on its journey. My canoe then will sail northeast into the Labrador Sea, travel across the Pacific Ocean and wash up on the shores of Lisbon, Portugal. In Lisbon, it will be taken into the large Portuguese arena, where it will witness a real bullfight! That is my canoe's dream.
