My canoeՉs name is Flipper. I have many big dreams for my canoe when itՉs launched, as I want it to get to Casablanca, Morocco. When I launch Flipper from Fargo, North Dakota, into the Red River, I hope it will enjoy watching all the leaves change color and fall in autumn and nature in the summer. I want it to see oak trees and soybean plants, as well as a few fish such as walleye and sauger, and other animals like ducks, deer, and hedgehogs. I hope Flipper gets to go through Pembina and Polk counties. Hopefully, it will make it all the way into Canada, through Manitoba and Winnipeg to Lake Winnipeg, through the Nelson River and eventually make it into Hudson Bay. There it will see starfish, beluga whales, puffins, surf scoters, and large willow trees in the distance.
There, it will enjoy the winter a year later and watch the snow fall over Canada. After this, I hope it will make it through the Hudson Strait, into the Labrador Sea, and finally into the north Atlantic Ocean. There it will spend some time in the ocean, taking a mostly peaceful, relaxing ride. After that, it will eventually arrive in Casablanca, Morocco, where I hope someone will pick it up. I hope whoever picks it up brings it to experience their culture and let it see some of their local traditions. In Casablanca, I hope Flipper will get to see some mules, camels, and toads. Hopefully, the person that finds Flipper will take good care of it.
