My canoeՉs name is GuineaPig27. I have many hopes and dreams for my canoe once I launch it. I hope my canoe reaches Australia by traveling through the Hudson Bay and through the Hudson Straight going out into the Labrador Sea, and traveling through the North and South Atlantic Ocean. When I launch GuineaPig27 from Fargo, I hope it will have a peaceful journey along the river, on a breezy, hot day in May of 2023. On the way to Australia, she will pass through Fargo, seeing cute squirrels and fluffy rabbits. She will pass under a shady oak tree, and be drifted along by a soft wind, entering out of Cass county.
When she is going out of Fargo, she will get stuck in a tree and have a catfish bump her out with its tail while leaping from the water. Next, a rabbit will run along with her on the riverbanks while she drifts peacefully, eventually stopping at Grand Forks. The bunny will then stop to eat some wheat from the fields, leaving GuineaPig27 to travel on her own. Once she has floated for a while, I hope she travels under a cottonwood tree, and sees a robin peeking out from a branch. After about 3 months, I hope she will see a hedgehog being chased by a bald eagle to give her some action. While GuineaPig27 watches, I hope the eagle will get distracted and pick her up instead. She will be approaching the border, so the eagle will bring her into the sky and carry her over to Canada!
Once she gets to Emerson, she will float along silently, giving her some peace and quiet. In and by Lake Winnipeg, she will see caribou and walleye. In Winnipeg though, she will look all around and marvel at its beauty. My canoe will then get into Nelson River, almost to her destination! After about 2 weeks, she gets into Hudson Bay, where she will see starfish. She is not done traveling, though. She still needs to get out of Hudson Bay and Hudson Straight, out of the Labrador Sea, and out of the North and South Atlantic Ocean, into Australia.
I hope that GuineaPig27 will make it to Australia after 4 years of sailing on the oceans. When she gets to Australia, she will be greeted by dolphins and whales, and see koalas in the eucalyptus trees. I hope that my canoe, after a total of 10 years of being in the water, will be captured by someone who will love her and think about all of the adventures GuineaPig27 had.
