Canoe 23RD0481

My canoeՉ€™s name is To Denmark and Back. I hope that my canoe will one day reach the lake-filled lands of Scandinavia or Denmark. When I launch my canoe into the muddy and murky waters of the red river I shall hope that it will pass into Canada within two years. As my canoe floats along, it will eventually pass one of the many fields filled with growing wheat around Fargo - Moorhead in Cass County. As soon as the canoe is dropped into the water, a channel catfish will come to the bottom of the boat to investigate. Soon after it will see a group of white tail deer slowly walking along. Soon after, my canoe will see some chipmunks scurrying along the bank of the river. Then my canoe will pass under the great shadow of a bald eagle playing happily in the sky while going through a spruce forest in Pembina in Pembina County. Soon after my canoe will see a chipmunk scurrying along on the ground. Later, much closer to the Canadian border a school of walleye will swim swiftly underneath. As soon as my canoe passes into Canada, a herd of elk and squirrels will come up to the river to drink in an elm grove. Soon after, my canoe will go through Winnipeg, the largest city on the Red River. Soon after my canoe exits Winnipeg, a group of caribou will stand near the river socializing with other animals. Then my canoe will enter the great lake Winnipeg and will see a snowy owl flying high and majestically near the horizon. Soon after my canoe will enter the mighty Nelson River and will see some starfish near the banks of the river. Then my canoe will reach Hudson Bay and truly begin the journey to Scandinavia. Then after many months or even years my canoe will reach Scandinavia. It will pass through the Hudson Straight and into the Labrador Sea to the Atlantic ocean. Much later, it will enter the Baltic Sea.
