One day there was a canoe named Sparkles . It was a beautiful canoe and it sparkled like the ocean . It went in the Maple River for a journey . First, it started at the Maple River. Then it went down the river and saw horses . They were in the field. It was a mother horse and her babies. They were beautiful. The mom had brown hair and the babies had blonde hair. After Sparkles passed the horses she saw a beautiful forest. It sparkled and shined. It had lots of different colored leaves.
Then came the Sheyenne River. It took a while to see stuff. But then came a huge castle. It was tan and brown . It was on the side of the river. It was in the middle of nowhere. Soon Sparkles passed the castle. She continued her journey. Then, Sparkles saw a lot of cows in an open field. There were mom cows, baby cows, and dad cows. They were in the lake drinking water. Later, she passed the Sheyenne River.
Soon Sparkles reached the Red River. She didn't see much but she did see people. But the people didn't see her. So she continued her journey. Then she saw squirrels having a picnic party with acorns. There were about 20 squirrels. They were climbing the trees to find more acorns. They found a lot of acorns. They were talking to each other. One squirrel saw Sparkles and told his friends to come and look so they did. But they couldn't get on Sparkles because she was moving too fast for them to jump on her. She passed them and continued her journey. Then came Lake Winnipeg. Sparkles saw a beach. There are rocks all over the beach. There are lots of fish and trees. She saw people. They were swimming and having lots of fun on the beach. Some people fish there and catch fish. Sometimes it is cold there. After all those nights Sparkles finally made it to the Hudson Bay and she was found by the dam. It was the beavers dam. The person that found Sparkles was a kid with his mom and dad . He brought it to his dad and he took a picture and put it on the website that was on the bottom of the canoe. It took 8 months for someone to find Sparkles.
