Khloee Lang, My Adventure To Canada Hi, My name is Faith and it's very nice to meet you! I Have a famous saying, Չ€œWhatever life pushes you through, keep going!Չ€ A girl named Khloee wrote that at the bottom of my canoe and I love it so much. Anyway, IՉ€™m gonna tell you about my adventure. So first I went through the Sandhill River. I saw a baby deer and mama deer. They were super cute, then I saw geese flying above me. The sound of geese is so peaceful to me. Then, when I went to Beltrami, I saw baby bunnies. I felt the soothing water below me. It was so calming it was also very sunny and warm out, I smelled the pine trees and a campfire. Then I got to Red River I saw some friendly ducks and swans who I made friends with. What IՉ€™m trying to do is make it to Canada to meet my best friend buddy. Buddy is a German Shepherd who is very funny and loyal. I met him when he was just a puppy. Anyway it was night time so I went to sleep. I woke up and I was in Grand Forks. The sun was nice and there was a nice breeze out. Woosh! I took a deep breath and smelled the sunflowers in the breeze. I saw some fish in the water waving hello! I said hello back. They actually helped me on the journey. Of course I needed some company around. I went under this awesome bridge when I was in Grand Forks. I also saw some golf balls in the river. It was 7:30 I should probably go to bed now so I have energy when I wake up. So I went to bed, now I am in Winnipeg I found some tulips I took one orange tulip for my friend buddy. I saw a lot of buildings. and the lights were super pretty. I saw some moose and elk. The moose was kinda grumpy but the elk was super delightful. We had so much fun. But then I had to leave. Չ€œIt was super nice meeting you!Չ€ I said to the elk. BOOM! Oh no it sounds like a thunderstorm is coming. BOOM! I couldnՉ€™t sleep even though it was 8:30. CRASH! Well I should at least try to sleep, so I did when I woke up I stretched and yawned. I was pretty wet but thatՉ€™s ok because I love rain. Anyway I continued my journey and I was feeling pretty hungry. So the fishes gave me this thing called seaweed to be honest it was super good! I took a nap to save up my energy. I just got into Lake Winnipeg. It was so beautiful. I saw very pretty evergreen trees and kind fish who were somewhere the size of a two foot mini fridge and some the size of an expo marker. Let's just say they were amazing. Then I also saw a nice family on the beach swimming and playing in the sand. I was so happy to see they were having fun. Then I smelled the lake. It smelled fresh like a little fishy scent but not stinky, it was nice. Then I saw a lady on a boat who caught a huge fish. It was about 3 or 4 feet. Then I saw a cute little otter. His name was Ollie and he came with me too. Ollie was super fun to hang out with. At 9:30 I am gonna go to bed. I yawned, I woke up in Nelson River. It was beautiful. I saw gorgeous mountains and an eagle flying above me. The pine trees were the prettiest thing IՉ€™ve ever seen and the water was pretty warm. Oh I found a boot I thought buddy would like it so i took it with. I saw a beluga whale. His name was Wally. He was so friendly. Ollie liked him too. Then we met a timber wolf named Wyatt. He was smart, brave and kind. He wanted to come with me but he couldnՉ€™t swim that far but at least I would see him on the way back. So then I continued I also found a bone so I grabbed that too but I gave it to Ollie to hold because I was holding too many things I was feeling hungry so ollie gave me some more seaweed, yeah he came prepared. Oh no we are going through rapids. Now the first weren't too bad but then I heard the sound of more loud rapids here we go! It was so much fun. So then I smelled something offՉ€»eww.. it's a skunk. She smelled so bad but I could tell she was nice tho because she was friends with a moose, the moose name was Molly and the skunk's name was Sarah. So anyway I was still going and then it was night time. I went to bed and I woke up and I saw Hudson Bay. I saw a polar bear. His name was beary, yes beary probably because he was a bear. It was actually cold there but then I went in this warm weather and saw pine trees. It was weird. It was snowy and sunny I donՉ€™t know but it was pretty cool. Then it was about 7:00 I saw northern lights they where the most beautiful thing I have ever seen before in my life. I was so focused on the lights I didnՉ€™t even notice that it was 9:00 already so I went to bed I woke up and I was stuck! And Ollie was not there to help me. I called for help for hours. Finally I saw brown in the distance. Չ€œOllie?Չ€ I whispered. It was him! He saved me and then we continued our journey. I saw Hudson Bay now. I just gotta sleep but first IՉ€™m gonna look around so I did and I saw some cool animals like black bears, foxes, caribou, seals, and mean wolverines. Wolverines are like Minnie Bears. So anyway someone dropped their hat. It was on the grass so it was dry. Ollie got it for me. It was a camo hat that looked so cool. After I saw Canada, I was super excited to see Buddy. 2 hrs passed then I saw Buddy! He was wagging his tail and smiling so happy he picked me up out of the water and he brought me to his owner. His owners' names are Jack and Linda. They were super nice. We had supper and ate steak, peas, corn, chicken, and mashed potatoes. It all tasted so good I spent the night and in the morning I had the best French toast ever. Then sadly I had to head back. I passed Hudson Bay to Nelson River, Nelson river to Lake Winnipeg, Lake Winnipeg to Winnipeg, Winnipeg to Grand Forks, Grand Forks to Red River, Red River to Beltrami. I got through all that by the river going in reverse. I didn't do that. I got a ride from the wolf Wyatt, it was so much fun. So thatՉ€™s my story!
