Paddle
I am thrown into the Sandhill River
Like an eagle diving into water
I see the grass getting green
As I am floating down the stream
Now I am in Beltrami; I see lots of birds 
Whoosh! goes a fish; it spins me around 
Then it takes me to the ground
I see a bird diving at me
Now it picks me up 
drops me back in the river
ItՉs so dark right now                                                     
Starting to see some light                                                          
In the middle of the night                                                                                                 
That light is Climax
Now I am in Grand Forks 
I see a little fish, it is my friend
The leaves are starting to turn
I should really hurry                                                         
Before I see a flurry
I see lots of deer 
They make me fill with cheer   
Big and small 
Big antlers, no antlers
I hear a loud bang       
Then they start to run                                                            
Now I have no fun
I see a big Lake
That lake is Lake Winnipeg 
IՉm going to Nelson River
ItՉs really getting chilly                                                    
Oh no! Now a fish is eating me
it should really let me be  
Now it spits me out
The lake is starting to freeze                                
I am frozen in the ice                                                                     
I cannot feel a breeze 
My fish friend is following me
ItՉs a very long time 
Ice is starting to thaw
CRACK! CRACK! 
Goes the ice
I am out of the ice now
IՉm in Hudson Bay
I watch the animals
I see a man
With a frying pan
In his house
Out flies a grouse
I see two animals
Those animals are polar bears 
Polar bears are fighting
My journey is coming to an end                                         
I see my little friend 
Then I reach the Atlantic Ocean
My journey has ended
