Paddle to the Sea
Hi! IՉm paddle to the sea
My journey begins
I am in the Sandhill River
I see a bunch of deer
A swan swimming in the river
Now itՉs getting dark
I see the moon
Now it's getting bright
I made it farther through the night
Now IՉm in Beltrami
I see a lot of dogs
There are dandelions in the grass
Now the sun is setting; itՉs the prettiest sunset IՉve ever seen
The day is gone
The next morning IՉm in the Red River
I see a bunch of fish
ItՉs really cold
I see a bunch of people fishing right now
I am making my way to Grand Forks
It is getting darker and bumpy and I made it to Grand Forks
I can see lightning flashing and thunder roaring
I want to go quick so I donՉt get stuck in the middle of the storm
I get to Canada and itՉs really nice outside
I see people walking on the trail
And some walking their dogs
IՉm entering Lake Winnipeg
ItՉs getting cold, but I see some fire in the night
The stores are closing
There are lots of lights, itՉs cool
Now IՉm in the Nelson River
I see fish, deer, flowers and bees
I see bikers
I see pedestrians
The day is going by fast
IՉm half way through the Nelson River
More than half way through my journey
I make it longer through the night
Now IՉm in Hudson Bay, itՉs really big
It will take a couple of months to get to the Atlantic Ocean
While the days go by I see a bunch of people
Now itՉs been a few months
ItՉs really hot outside, at least IՉm in the water
IՉm halfway through the Hudson Bay
IՉve seen a lot of fish
ItՉs dark and I see northern lights
In the mornings I see polar bears and deer
I finished my journey to the Atlantic Ocean
