My canoe is named Northern Lights. My canoe started at the Clearwater River. l tossed it in the water and it was off and it was going at a slow pace. It got stuck on a broken tree, then it got hit by a rainbow trout. It was at the Red River. Northern Lights finally made it to the Red River the sights were different then it was to Grand Forks. It goes under the bright sky and lots of people are watching it. One man hooked me with a fishing rod and saw that it said please put me in the water so he did. I made it all the way to Lake Winnipeg; the Northern Light was excited. I was in the mouth of Lake Winnipeg. There were so many animals and a whale swam up right next to me! I was on the other side of the lake but a gust came and blew me to the Nelson River. Then it was winter. The water froze, but by next spring he was floating in the water. A little boy came and picked it up and was playing with it. Then he showed his dad that it said please put me in the water, so he did. Then he was stuck on a high rock. Winter came again and it was stuck. Then spring came and he was a float. A couple days came and he was in the Hudson Bay. A walrus swam right next to me and took me under water. Then the walrus dropped me and I was on the surface and he was in the Atlantic Ocean. Then I realized I was in the North Pole. After many years, I was on ice and a polar bear took me with it and I lived with it forever. One night the polar bear and myself, Northern Lights, were looking out at the northern lights.
