My canoe started its journey at the Clearwater Dam. Gracy got stuck on a log for about a day. She went over a log and saw a mama bear with her cubs. She saw about 20 painted turtles. Gracy finally made it to the Red Lake River. The sights are so pretty, she saw a herd of cattle, and some shire horses. Gracy has now made it to Lake Winnipeg, there are a couple bison, elk, and some moose. It is the following winter and the lakes are now frozen. Gracy is stuck in the ice. A family of three came fishing right next to Gracy. The little girl found her when she was playing in the snow. The following spring the family put Gracy right back in the water where they found her. After what seemed like a really long time, Gracy finally made it to Hudson Bay. It was so pretty with the fresh green grass and the animals coming out from hibernation. It is so nice to see all the bears again, the baby deer and so much more. Gracy has made so many new friends on her way, the checkers at Clearwater Dam, the family that freed her from the ice and all the animals on the way to the Atlantic Ocean. She shal continue to be on her way to her next destination, out in the ocean and meet so many more friends on the way. She might even see some humpback whales, seals and so much more. BYE GRACY!
