My canoe named Waffle is launched from the Red River in East Grand Forks, MN. I want it to travel to the Hudson Bay. It goes so far I canՉt reach it. Bye-Bye, have a good trip. I will always remember. He said, ՉI am going to Hudson Bay. I will miss him. I want Waffle to see a lot of animals like a buck, bears, and ducks. A huge wave came and pushed him back, but he pushed through. Then he saw a poor little deer stuck in a mud puddle but then the mom came to save him and pushed him out of the mud puddle. Next a big shark in the water came and Waffle was scared but he swam to go back. But there were more sharks so he swam to go to Hudson Bay as fast as he could. The sharks followed but they got really tired and stopped to rest. They rested for too long. Waffle got away and they tried to get him. They got even more tired that they had to stop so many times so they stopped following. Waffle was so happy they stopped or he would have gotten eaten for lunch or dinner. Oh my! I was super scared. I thought Waffle was toast, not the bread. I know Waffle would have been gone for sure. The next day, Waffle had really bad weather. It was really windy and it was raining really hard too. But it stopped at noon. ՉIt was really hard and really scary to be in it,Չ he said. Waffle was one hour away from Hudson Bay. He was so happy but he stopped moving. He was on ice but someone saw him because he was ice fishing in the lake. He picked up Waffle and read the bottom of Waffle. He said,ՉՉI would love to keep him, but I have to put him back in the lake to Hudson Bay. Waffle was happy someone had loved him and liked to keep him. Waffle was 30 minutes away. Now he was so happy, he was almost there. Then he thought what would I do there and said, ՉI would party with everyone who makes it to Hudson Bay!Չ Waffle was ten seconds away and then he was at Hudson Bay. He was so happy!
