JamesՉ story starts in the Red River in East Grand Forks, MN. He will travel down the river when an eagle comes and catches him with his talons, thinking itՉs a fish. He flies into his nest and goes in search of more food. All of a sudden a big gust of wind comes and blows the nest over. It falls in the river. James lands safely in the moist dense river. Suddenly he runs into a giant beaver dam. The beaver slowly and gracefully swimmed out of the dam. He slowly crept back in the dam with James! He set James on the side of the dam. The beaver jumped back in the water. The splash hit James and he went back into the river. Then he ended up at a small river near the Hudson Bay. Then he will see a fisherman by the shore. He grabbed James when he was going to the shore. He read the bottom and set him back in gracefully. Two days later he made it to the Atlantic Ocean.
